Formerly the practice of Dr. Richard Bates, we are proud to carry on his legacy of showing genuine compassion, performing excellent dentistry, and making our patients feel like family.

We have an amazing team of professionals, some of whom have been with the practice for several years and/or are long-time patients of the practice themselves! All of us think of our patients as family, something you can see the moment you walk through our doors. We love to laugh and have fun – there’s no better way to show off a healthy and beautiful smile!

Dr. Thatch and Dr. Wire are both dedicated to providing up-to-date equipment and techniques for a more advanced, patient-friendly dental experience. Our office offers digital imaging systems to allow for a quick and effective diagnosis. We also utilize intraoral cameras and scanners, which not only lead to a more comfortable patient experience (reducing the need for messy impressions!) but also help us better educate our patients about the condition of their mouth.

We enjoy getting to know each patient and family, and love creating relationships that last multiple generations. We are proud that most of our patients visit us at the recommendation of a friend or loved one. Dr. Thatch often jokes that she could benefit from a book of family trees to help identify all of the various connections between our patients!

We work hard to make our patients feel comfortable, from offering TV to entertain them to creating an affordable payment plan to help them finance their treatment. Dr. Thatch and Dr. Wire are conservative in their treatment recommendations and believe that dental services should never be “sold.” We place a strong emphasis on preventative care and patient education.

We aim to provide most dental services in our office, but sometimes we feel that it would be in our patient’s best interest to see a specialist. Our office has developed a strong network with other dental professionals in the community in these instances to help provide quality interdisciplinary care.
